Agora Débats Jeunesse
Agora Débats Jeunesse is a research journal published on a four-yearly basis by the National Institute of Youth and Popular Education. It is run by an editorial committee composed of researchers, academics and experts from multidisciplinary approach.
By means of research articles, the journal aims at deepening our understanding of young people, in France and in other countries, and of their place within society in particular by the observation of public policies and of the evolutions — within the educational field — of informal education and of voluntary organizations.
Interviews with researchers or actors on the ground and special features also shed light on how research is being developed concretely and encourage diverse readings and approaches. Book reviews invite readers to discover recent works chosen amongst the most interesting within the fields relevant to Agora.
Agora Débats Jeunesse also keeps track of all the latest information on voluntary organisations and youth issues, on the latest publications and events, official reports, relevant websites.
Agora Débats Jeunesse, as a research journal targeting researchers, academics, youth professionals, elected representatives, voluntary organisations leaders and members, aims at promoting the most recent research on these fields in order to support a lively research, collective thinking and exchange of ideas between researchers and actors on the ground as well as contribute to the social debate.
